Looked at Tamarack place for a family member, unfortunately the member passed before a decision was made. Property Manager was amazing to deal with and the building was in great condition given its age. The big bonus was the common room, with daily activities as I know she would have loved to people to play cards and visit every day.
I moved into Tamerack Place in October of 2022. The apartments are two bedrooms and spacious. Upon moving in I commented on the worn carpets and the manager said if I wished to replace them with laminate I would have to pay to have them replaced. Since I was planning on staying until I went into a retirement facility I decided it was worth the 1000.00 plus to at least have the livingroom carpet replaced.Happiness soon became frustration as I settled in. Rent is above average for a 2 bedroom apartment in camrose ($1200/$1250) but considering water, internet, tv, and washer/dryer/dishwasher is included... its a pretty good deal (rec room and elevator also).
High rents, not worth the money.
