I booked a couples massage for our wedding anniversary. I was pleased that they were able to accommodate our reservation based upon the close proximity to the service date. We had to make a time change to the original appointment and they made that happen without a problem. The exterior and location of the spa threw me off a bit but don't judge a book by its cover. Tamara's was awesome! I purchased the "I Love You" package for my husband and I and it exceeded my expectations. The jacuzzi room was nice and very intimate. The deep tissue massage was wonderful and I could tell the massage therapist, Unique knew what she was doing. We will be going back!!!
Tamara Spa was recommended to me for permanent eyeliner. I could not be happierI My eyes look awesome and it wasn't painful at all. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Tamara Spa is very clean and inviting. I definitely plan on visiting again and have suggested other friends do the same.
Manicures are awful - bad first and last experience – Seriously? My first experience was not good at all. I was expecting so much more. I just got a manicure so could that be why? It was hard to find the place. A man who worked there was swearing in the doorway while I was entering. I had a long wait and after twenty minutes while people who came after me were attended to, I was offered a glass of water. My manicurist gave me a shellac nail manicure where the polish is baked on. THE BEST LASER HAIR REMOVAL – I have tried laser hair removal many times before, the last place I went to I was very disappointed in the results. The hair grew back and I spent thousands of dollars. I had heard of Tamara's from a good friend of mine, who raved about their laser hair removal. The prices are very affordable. The staff is very friendly always making me feel right at home. Won't be back – I have been to Tamara's a few times, and have not been that impressed. I thought the pedicures were a complete rip-off (I almost had a heart attack when my bill was $80 - don't get the foot masque, apparently)! The aesticians (waxing & facials) and masseuses were very nice and did a good job, but the nail staff and even the front staff were really rude. I think Salon Julianna (Plymouth) and Legato (Farmington) are much better.
Amazing Massages and the most wonderful Aestheticians! – This was my third visit to Tamara?s Spa and I must say once again I was amazed. This time I decided to get the ?Private Time? spa package which includes a rain forest water journey, European spa facial, skin consultation and a 55-minute Swedish massage. The best day spa of pampering! – I had an unforgettable experience at Tamara Spa just a few days ago. My husband bought me and my daughters a package ?Spa Champagne Treat? for Mother?s Day.
