Dr. Coates was patient, kind, and asked all the right questions. She provided support during menopause counseling that my previous doctor failed to do. I felt seen and heard. Dr. Coates is very good at what she does and gave me excellent support, even when I cried.

I had a very difficult experience with this doctor during my labor and delivery. I was in labor for 61 hours, exhausted, scared, and dealing with a lot of anxiety, especially around getting the epidural. At one point I asked for a different nurse because I felt uncomfortable, and instead of supporting me, she refused and defended the nurse. I’ve been with the practice for more than 20 years since I was expecting my first (of 3 kids). Excellent practice with doctors who work as a team. Dr Coates has been my primary for over a decade and she is a true advocate for women’s health. Thorough, proactive, knowledgeable and always professional. She asks questions and listens to her patients. Highly recommend!
