We had heard a lot about Talula’s and gave it a try. The food was good but not as good as we thought it would be given how hard it is to get a reservation. Everything was fresh and well prepared but the rocket pizza was a bit flavorless and the vegan Caesar salad has some strange flavors. Otherwise it’s a fun place, loud and vibrant with plenty of big parties.
Decent enough pizza, but service was too dismissive and slow for me to want to rush back for more.

Great spot to hit with a small or medium group size especially. Awesome pizzas, awesome vibes, and great service. The prices might be just a tad north of “fair”, but not so crazy it would knock a star off. Last I went I got the (now discontinued, sadly) Meat Lovers and my girlfriend got the Margarita. Talula's is always our fave place to go in Asbury Park! High quality pizzas with fresh ingredients. We had the Pantera Rosa (Pink Panther!), Margie regular and custom Margie with vegan cheese (they are so helpful when accommodating diet needs!). Super friendly pro staff with many familiar faces over the past 10 years that we have been going. Recommend highly! Thanks!
