I had my second total knee replacement on October 8,2024. It was originally scheduled for sometime in September. My sister and I were 5 minutes from NEBH when Dr. Talmo’s office called and asked if I was at the hospital. I thought maybe they are taking me early! I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Dr. Talmo's office staff were super responsive, and I felt fully prepared for my surgical date. The surgery went off without a hitch and I was home 4.5 hours later and walked up the stairs to my bedroom. My recovery has been remarkable and I am recovering much more quickly than I could ever have imagined. Dr. Talmo is an excellent surgeon and I would recommend him to anybody planning hip replacement.

As a referring Primary Care Physician, I am not impressed with how rude this office has been when I tried to communicate a question about a shared patient. I personally called his office to ask about the type of imaging ordered in order to save my patient from CT radiation if it was not necessary and MRI could be used instead given the fact that she had 3 recent CT scans for other reasons.
