Dr Tallon is courteous and professional. She is such a caring doctor
My mom was basically left to die in hoapital. Medications stripped from her after having 3 neck vertibrae removed and a steel rod put it place . thrown in a nursing home. Told her the pain is torture but tallon said to bad deal with it.staff in parkview agreed that her care was unusual punishment. The only thing tallon cares about is herself and her extravagant life. She needs her licenses taken away. Beware of this doctor
After reading these comments about Dr Tallon I have to say I think she is great. Yes her waiting room is small, messy, but I see children messing it up while the parents are on their cell phones ignoring them. The temperature is hot, no excuse. However I have never had a doctor take so much time with each patient that needs it. She is like talking to a friend. I only use her as a family doctor, colds etc., & she has been great. We haven't been to Dr. Tallon's office in years. We switched to a new BETTER pediatrician. But yet still having issues with her. Our daughter needs caught up on her shots but we can't seem to get her old shot records from Dr. Tallons office. They are apparently off site in storage? What? They are public records and I should be able to access them at all times. It's hard to even get anyone on the phone there. The place is dirty and unkept. Let alone how the doctor presents herself. Every time I have taken my children here the wait has been 2 to 3 hours...with an appointment! The last time we went all of the lights were off in the tiny waiting room...I talked to a receptionist and they said it was to keep the room cool in the hot summer months - except it was October and chilly outside. In my experiences with Dr. Tallon herself, she has ranged from unhelpful to downright rude. If you, like me, value your time and desire good medical care, I suggest you find a different doctor.
I was referred to this doctor by my current insurance company , but I saw this particular doctor only one time several years ago and never returned and most definitely never will go back to her. The waiting room was filthy, the front office staff very unprofessional, staff's children running around in the front office messing with patient files! NASTY!!!! Our first visit was back in June, our 4mo was having breathing issues. And we still waited over 3 hours! I was about to leave and take him to the ER. We ended up taking him back to sit in the hall between the rooms and she walk by him atleast 8 times. The heat in the waiting room did not help with the breathing issues (90+ degrees). I had Dr talking in 1998 when I was pregnant. I found out I was expecting twins at that time. Dr tallon practiced at Dekalb hospital at this time. Long story short she killed my son during delivery and almost me and other baby.. I sued her and won.. she was not even an obgyn that's reason she no longer practices at Dekalb. She showed up to funeral and patted me on back and I flipped. She didn't even sew me up after 1st twin was born natural and dropped him when was born. .2nd twin she killed and was a csection. Dr. Tallon is the worse doctor. She is my family doctor I have been going to since born, I am now almost 19 and moved outta Indiana. But from my past experience she was horrible from start and I never liked her. I would drive from Angola to Fort Wayne to see her. I would make a appointment at 10 am or 11 am and be there til at least 12 or 1 waiting in the waiting room than a hour or more in the exam room.
