RecommendedI have lived in other states and other parts of Mississippi but I have never experienced the great service my family and I have found with TVEPA. They are constantly upgrading and growing. Don't get me wrong, power outages happen. But instead of the hours my family waited with other electricity providers, it's usually minutes with TVEPA. You've found a family of fans, TVEPA. Mine!!
Power has went out 4 times in passed three weeks . During perfect weather. Ridiculous
Their powerline clearing crew leaves a hell of a mess. Took out my fiber optic line along with 25 foot of my waterline in the process.
Power goes out way to much its just plain rediculous!
As of 9:30a.m. 7/7/19 Harmontown residents have gone w/o electricity for more than 15 hrs. There are many retired residents in this area, going w/o air or refrigeration. This is dangerous in the high temps we are experiencing. Multiple calls have gone unanswered. No one @tallahatchievalleyelectricpower is acknowledging this outrage or at least not to their customers.
Power goes out for no reason, power can take minutes to hours to come back on.

The power goes out all the time. It might come back on right away or it might be out for hours.
The entire crew at TVA is fantastic! From the wonderful office staff to the hardworking linemen, they work to keep our power going! The app and the website are both really convenient for outage reporting, and they will call and let you know it's back on if you're not home. No matter the weather or time of day, they sacrifice time with their families to help keep the rest of us comfortable in our homes and businesses!
