The new Tall Boy just opened at the Assylum off Hawthorne. Just finished a five piece cod/chips with my wife and they were excellent. Crispy seasoned fries, light cole slaw with cilantro and a refreshing jalapeno lemonade. Yummy and very clean in that truck. Highly recommended. Michael

The best fish and chips I've had in a very long time. I had the halibut fish and chips and everything was just simply perfect. I've never written a review before, but the food was so good I felt the need to do this. First, and most importantly: the fish. Such a simple batter, but so well salted. It held up to the squeeze of lemon which provided such a nice brightness to everything. The chips on the side are nice thin fries and honestly good enough to have on their own. Solid fish and chips! Super nice and quick service. Great fish, battered well and cooked perfectly with fries and sides. Choice of fish? You got it! Halibut, Albacore or Cod.
