Old Skool..... Gone were the days of the good ol' corner bookstores... now replaced with Book Superstores such as Borders and Barnes and Nobles. Talking Leaves is one of the very few remaining "corner bookstores" left in the area. Upon entering, you are greeted with masses of books thats seems to be disorderly arranged... but dont let that fool you, they somehow make sense. good selection and prices Being on the elmwood strip it is impossible not to stop in here from time to time. They have a good selection of books and prices are not bad. I have had to go here to buy a few text books for classes. They were always helpful in finding them for me. It is a nice little shop that has a lot of character compared to big bookstores I am use to.
Talking Leaves Book Store This business is good because the prices are very low, especially the textbooks. When I went to buy my textbooks there the customer service was very good and they were nice. The textbook was almost 20 percent cheaper than the textbooks than my textbook store. They are a great business with excellent service and they talk to you and they tell you what other place has it if they run out. PROS: Great Service, Great Price CONS: Looks gloomy inside

Just call or write or post ahead and a nice person from TL will greet you at the door with a bag of books; couldn’t be easier
When I came in in-person last winter, the staff was friendly and helpful in finding me the book I was looking for (and pointing me to a few extras besides!). Browsing is one of my favorite activities, but since that isn't an option at the moment, I've been using their online orders system for pleasure reading and getting textbooks, and I am very happy with how quickly the books came. I would recommend Talking Leaves to anyone that asks - and anyone that doesn't, too!
