Just call or write or post ahead and a nice person from TL will greet you at the door with a bag of books; couldn’t be easier
When I came in in-person last winter, the staff was friendly and helpful in finding me the book I was looking for (and pointing me to a few extras besides!). Browsing is one of my favorite activities, but since that isn't an option at the moment, I've been using their online orders system for pleasure reading and getting textbooks, and I am very happy with how quickly the books came. I would recommend Talking Leaves to anyone that asks - and anyone that doesn't, too!

I wanted a specific book and to support a local shop during the COVID pandemic. Jonathan was so helpful and I received my book in the mail the next day!!
We love the selection of books and periodicals. we also love the atmosphere. The staff is wonderful, they call when something comes in that we might like.
