Great Spring break getaway for locals. Wonderful rooms with large mountainview and Northern Lights windows. Fun activities available, during spring break, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, prime time to schedule a courtsey wake up call to view the active Northern lights. During this week the Lodge is open for residents reservations, the lodge had live music, restaurant open for dinner only, a breakfast snack bar open, For lunch , I had to go into town of Talkeetna to eat, was a great variety of eateries and shops.
