My first appointment was last year and I was there for almost 3 hours for an eye exam. I left frustrated but thought it was just an "off day". Today, I went for my yearly exam and waited for an hour and still had not been called back. There were three patients ahead of me who had not yet been called. I have had two appointments with Takle Eye Group, one in Griffin and the other in Locust Grove. I have been billed for services not received both times! They’ve moved their billing department overseas so you get to talk to someone who doesn’t even work in the office if you want to clear things up. I will be finding a new doctor. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Dr tackle did punctiplasty on both eyes for dry eyes!! Over a year ago, my eyes are now worse than before. I had both eyes done for cataracts only to have them NOT BE CORRECTED!!! Dr tackle said it’s common to redo after first surgery??? NOT!!! I can’t get a call back after leaving message with savanna after 3 weeks I’m calling to ask what’s happening why haven’t gotten call back!! Dr Takle SR was a kind, caring and an expert Dr in his field. I will always be grateful for the many times he saved my vision because of a chronic condition. I have been a patient since the early 80s. After forty plus years I am looking for a new ophthalmology group.
