Absolutely love this place! We had our wedding reception here, one year ago, and it is one of the best memories of my life! Taki's made sure it was a night we will never forget. The food, the drinks, the service was beyond my expectations. We're not Greek, but we wanted our own "Big Fat Greek Wedding" and Taki and Kiki gave us that! I've been eating at Taki's for the last 20 years, it was one of the first places Gary took me to when we got married. I've watch Taki and KiKi's boys grow up they close to TJ's age.... It's my all time favorite place in Ballard. We use to go to Rays, but honestly I like the family atmosphere of Taki's. Besides the fact they have the best food around.
Had the gyro and garlic fries. Both were phenomenal. The highlight though was the Greek coffee. I love some Greek coffee. First time in a while I've had some this good. :)

The food was good but the waitress tried to cheat me out of my change from a twenty. I gave her my money and she took a long time helping customers answering the phone etc., then she makes stupid small talk, I say my change and she gives me coins; but doesn't count it out, I said my change, she gives me a one, then goes back to helping others, I said I gave you twenty and she ignored me and I said it again and she said, you gave me $10, I said no I gave you twenty and without counting her till she gave me a $10.
