The best of the best. Our experience was incredible. Our bag porters were the happiest on the trail over the many days we trekked. Our guide Sandip (our shepherd, big brother and protector) was passionate, motivating, educational and fun. The assistant guides helped set the pace and looked after us with the care of dear friends. Book with Take On Nepal for so many reasons. They support women in work and educate and support children without typical families. We have shared more laughs and support than we could measure and fee... read more

The Take On Nepal team are simply the best. From the moment you decide to sign up you know you are in professional, safe, reliable hands. Susan and Som have created a business with a huge heart. They, along with their team, not only lead you on an adventure of a lifetime, but they invest in their local Nepalese community, providing opportunities for education and employment. They really are in the business of making dreams come true, not only for the likes of me on a dream trek to Annapurna base camp, but also for the people... read more

Take On Nepal is by far the best travel agency I have worked with when it comes to social impact, giving back to the community, and volunteerism. I am Puskar Rai, a content writer and social media manager at Take On Nepal, and I cannot talk highly enough about their mission, vision, and professionalism. I am lucky that I am working with Som Tamang (owner of Take On Nepal) and indirectly contributing towards the mission of Take On Nepal. The company offers excellent service for those who wish and dream of trekking to the Hima... read more

My daughter and I trekked to Annapurna Base Camp for her 18th birthday. We had the best time ever. Susan, Clem, Anil and the whole Take on Nepal team were beyond incredible. It was so wonderful to get to experience Nepal, its beautiful scenery and culture through the team. We trekked with the most wonderful group of women, who made every day so enriching, entertaining and hilarious. From the start Susan and Clem brought us all together in a way that made us form lifelong friendships. Bim Maya expertly guided us every step of... read more

You couldn’t be better looked after. It’s not a company it’s a community! My trip to Annapurna base camp was great - the guides and porters were knowledgable and joyful, and friends with each other. It was all well organised, flexible and fun.
