About this business

For a secondhand shop, this one is remarkably well-lit and arranged, and once you get a look at some of the labels, you'll understand why. This isn't a designer thrift shop, but a good percentage of its wares are seconds from department stores and higher-end boutiques, while the rest are gently used professional and casual attire. So, if you need stylish clothing at good prices, this is the place. The selection changes regularly. Just watch out for the inadequately curtained dressing rooms at the back.

Of course since it's consignment it's hit or miss on if you find something you love. The whole front of the store is new items though (things with the tags cut out so you don't know what brand it was). The brand new items I have scored on here have been fancy cocktail dresses, winter hats and scarves, tights, tights and more tights and jewelry. The consignment it... read more

A consignment shop catering to women who don't want to look like they're wearing somebody's old clothes. – In Short Even though it's on Capitol Hill, this is no vintage store. Since clothing more than two years old isn't usually accepted, styles are semi-current and always presentable. Plus-sizes abound. Shoppers here are often career women in search of office-appropriate clothing or special oc... read more
