Wonderful restaurant! The atmosphere is so cozy and classy and the food is delicious. Prices are reasonable for what you get, too.
My wife and I had a reservation at Taka, and from the moment we arrived, we were greeted by their warm and welcoming staff. Our table was ready right away, and the ambience was both stylish and inviting. We ordered sushi, shrimp tempura, and the Taka poke — all of which were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We love this place. The cocktails (Taka Negroni) among others are great. Tonight I tried the rice lager with lemongrass that Icarus did for their 20th anniversary. I found it pretty tasty. The food is the bomb. Tonight I had the crudo combo and the softshell crab roll with eel sauce drizzled on it. Both outstanding. I had another roll too but I forget the name. It was also Onolicious.
Excellent sushi and stellar service. I forgot my servers name but he was impressive. 24 year old, goes to Rutgers and an Exemplary young man. Salute to you sir.
