The waiter didn't come to our table at all after we ordered. I waited and waited for someone to come so I could order something else, but I gave up. The "stuffed" Naan hardly had anything inside of it, the Chicken Tandoori was so incredibly dry we couldn't finish it. It was on the verge of inedible. I wanted to voice my complaints but no one came to our table the entire meal. VERY disappointing...bland in comparison to any other Indian restaurants I have been to.
RecommendedExceptional Indian food with great service. Taj Mahal has been a Lancaster favorite for many years and has kept a high level of quality in food and service all that time. We have probably been there 40-50 times for dine in and takeout and have never had a bad meal. Spice level can be tuned to your liking and there are lots of vegetarian amd vegan options as well as meat and seafood. Something for everyone!

I'm a 7th grade world cultures teacher. The Taj Mahal recently catered an Indian lunch for our learners as part of our unit on India. They were unbelievably accommodating and even offered us a discount. The food was absolutely delicious...and the first taste of this kind of food for many of my kids who came for seconds and even thirds. Thank you, Taj Mahal!! Please give this restaurant a try. It's definitely worth it!!
