Stayed at the Taj for 5 nights. Besides the great location and great breakfast this establishment has friendly and helpful staff willing to assist with every question. Eligio who works at the breakfast dining area was amazing. Always polite, professional and friendly - checking on me as I felt not good one day. I'll definitely recommend this place .
Lovely service and The Brasserie restaurant has amazing food, but the room was meh (lumpy bed, unusable power outlets) and the $30+tax "facility fee"* is an offensive customer-hostile bit that is inexcusable. It didn't even include anything special or particularly useful! (e.g., no restaurant credit, no access to the non-existent pool, etc.). Great SF classic hotel
Had a fantastic stay here and would 100% stay here again. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful especially Juan with our room service (thanks, Juan!), fantastic location near Union Square, safe and very walkable, great amenities including 2 onsite restaurants, very clean hotel/rooms, and had everything we needed. High recommend!
