I'm very annoyed with the corporate takeover. I come to support local but can't get my dog food because it's out of stock in the store. Apparently the stores no longer order their own food but corporate does. There wasn't a single large bag of Zignature in the store. The store did order me a bag and I had to purchase a smaller bag to make due. It's disappointing.
I went here today and WOW! The women who helped me pick out my dog food was amazing! She listened to everything I had to tell her and I could tell she really cared. She really new her foods! And 14 day return?! Yep I'm in love. On a price point I checked Amazon and the exact bag of food I got was cheaper at tails spin! I'll definitely be buying our two dogs food here from now on.
I've never been disappointed. Friendly and helpful staff, great locations and the owners are perfectly lovely people. I've also been shopping with them since they were on Whitaker St.
It's a great store for foods and toys, but they're extremely limited on the other stuff. Looking for collars, harnesses and such, I guess they're geared way more for the little dogs...

I've shopped on and off at Tailspin going all the way back to their first store on Whittaker Street. They've always carried good products and quality dog foods. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The guys who own it couldn't be nicer and they actively work to improve the Savannah (and now Pooler and Whitmarsh Island) dog community by sponsoring events like doggie carnivals and low-cost vaccination clinics.
