I’ve trained 5 soon to be 6 dogs at Tails Up. They do a great job! All the instructors are well qualified, helpful and committed to you and your dog becoming a great team. Whether it be competition or companion you’ll be happy with Tail Up Dog Training.
Great opportunity for socialization for our puppy!
Fun classes with great trainers! I have nothing but positive things to say and positive experiences to back them up. Very thankful to have had Tails Up to help our Aussie from a little pup into a incredibly well behaved dog
My husband and I have had the worst experience ever! We were so humiliated at Tails Up Dog Training on Thursday, October, 4th 2018 by 8 p.m. by one of the employees/manager. Achilles is our 6 months Cane Corso (Mastiff) puppy who weighs 100 pounds. I've asked them on the phone prior to sign up for Beginning Obedience class if they had experience with this breed, they confirmed the trainers were familiar with all kinds. My dog is big, he got super excited about being around the other dogs when we got there, he couldn't stop b... read more
Business response:
I am truly sorry and apologize that you felt humiliated. That is certainly NEVER our intention. Honestly I feel very frustrated by this negative review. When you and Achilles arrived, it was very apparent that he was extremely overstimulated and overexcited by the other dogs - I NEVER said aggressive. The reason I asked if you would step outside with him to talk because it was extremely difficult for us to have a conversation in the building with the other dogs because of how he was barking & dragging the person with you tow... read more
We are really happy with the training we are receiving at Tails Up Dog Training! The instructors are really knowledgeable and make the class fun also. We have had our dog Ciara in the puppy class, beginner obedience, and now intermediate obedience and she is progressing really well. I plan to continue on with more classes. I would recommend Tails Up to everyone. They also have training collars and other items available for purchase at reasonable prices and total convenience.
The facility is in a warehouse and if all the training areas are in use, it is too noisy to hear the trainer and very distracting for a younger dog. The trainer forced my dog to sit by pulling back so hard on the leash that my dog became frightened and was trying to escape. (Shr also ripped of the flea collar by doing this) Rather than let up, she kept using aggressive force. While the website states it uses positive reinforcement and corrections for unwanted behavior, this was excessive aggressive behavior on the trainers p... read more
The Tails Up Trainers are top notch and they not only train the handler but focus on the strengths of the dog. Two of my three dogs have gone to Tails Up and will be starting the third baby puppy soon! Bonnie and Kori deserve high paws 🐾 My only so called complaint would be they don’t offer Tricks class on Wednesday nights 😞
