Rios did an amazing job on my wedding dress. When I chose to wear my aunts 50 year old dress I knew there was no one I would trust more with the delicate fabric than him. He worked his magic to make sure that my vintage dress was customized into my dream dress. Not only did he alter the hem and cut out the back to make it fit better, but he also added custom details of a tulle overlay and a beaded sash. Tailoring by Rios deserves more than 5 stars for going above and beyond to exceed all of my expectations for my wedding dress!! I had to purchase my wedding dress off the rack due to time constraints with my wedding quickly approaching. I called around to other businesses to have my wedding dress altered before calling Tailoring by Rios. I bought my wedding dress and had to have it made smaller, shorter and add the bustle. I asked the dress shop who was the best tailor they would recommend and they referred me to Tailor by Rios. Let me tell you they were SO RIGHT! They took great care of me and my dress and tailored it so it fits me like a glove so much better than I could have ever imagined! Their hospitality is second to none!! I would highly recommend them without a doubt!

I bought my wedding dress off the rack and it fit almost perfectly (except that I am short and did not fill in the bust). I took my dress to Tailoring By Rios and was very satisfied with the price and result. I had my dress shortened, taken in at the bust, and bustled. I had to make a total of 4 trips to the salon over a 3 month period (initial fitting, trial fitting, final fitting, and final pick up). I was incredibly pleased with my experience at Tailoring by Rios. The owner, Edward, is an incredibly friendly and professional man. He immediately made me feel comfortable. I had a total of three fittings, where he was always prepared and ready to see me. I am from Houston, so coming to my fittings was more difficult for me than most brides.
