Went in for my first tattoo-obviously nervous. Jon made everything okay, though! His sense of humor is awesome and it was just an overall comfortable atmosphere. I would definitely recommend going to see him at his shop :)

Everything about this was great! I had originally wanted a finger tattoo, but the guys at the shop made good points about the dangers of finger tattoos, and the guy that tattooed me said he doesn't normally do them so he wasn't comfortable giving one, which I very much appreciated because everyone gave the best advice and service to their ability! I will definitely be coming back if/when I have more work I want done and would highly recommend this shop to anyone unsure of where to go! Thanks guys!

Walked out of this shop completely off put and offended. From the minute I walked in the dude (sorry, no idea what the name was) gave me attitude and spoke with a condescending tone. Tried to talk me out of the tattoo placement I wanted, which I find to be extremely rude. I'm not a child and it was not my first tattoo, I put a lot of thought and effort into what I would like permanently branded onto me, INCLUDING the placement, and he acted like I was some idiot who had just hopped out of bed and thought "hey, why not go get... read more

Jon is a fantastic guy to work with. Consulted with him by phone and email with basically half an idea for a tattoo and with his artistic vision and skill I got something better than I had hoped for. My advice: Give him and idea and let him run with it, then tweak from there if you need to (I did not). I spent 3.5 hours in his chair and we had a great time swapping stories. The experience of working with Jon was awesome. I was nervous because it was my first bigger tattoo and I got it on my ribcage, a very painful spot, but he made me feel as comfortable as possible. He was such a friendly and understanding guy! Also I kept looking at his work in his office space and he really is an outstanding artist. I'm very happy with my new lotus flower :) I would recommend coming to tailor made to anyone wanting a tattoo first or hundredth time. Thank you Jon and Tailor Made!
