This local boarding kennel just opened up this past year and we were thrilled since there were none in the area. The local radio station has been running ads for Tail Waggers for months and it sounded like a wonderful place to leave our dog while away. Horrible Service!!!! Would not reccomend anyone to this place. They claim to have 30 years experience which is clearly not the case. They just started out!! They are rude, over priced and do not know how to take care of a loved animal. My pet came back sick and almost died and was perfectly healthy before I dropped her off!! Please if you love your pet you will take them elsewhere. A gold star for Tail Waggers! I was a little nervous about leaving my 11 year old shepherd at a new kennel but all the people at Tail Waggers were very caring and professional. They let the dog have her own bed and they gave her the medicine on time and walked her several times a day. It was a good experience for all. Thanks Tail Waggers!
I warmly welcome Tail Waggers of Litchfield to the area. The facility is state of the art, radient heated floors, ample room for the dogs to reside. Indoor/outdoor runs, and a giant play area for doggy daycare. This place has all the amenities, for a 5 star hotel. The owners, are wonderful caretakers as well as the actual builders of this facility. They have spared no expense. 5 stars for Tailwaggers! I bring my two dogs to doggy day care and they love it. They have a huge area outside and inside if it rains, they also have toys, small pool and a fire hydrant. My dogs wernt sociable at all with other dogs and now they cant wait to get in the car for their day of play. This kennel is new and its very clean, it has radiant floor heat and lots of space in the kennels for the dogs to run around. Dont confuse Tail Waggers with the previous kennel on the same property. New owners! Thats why I say from one pet lover to another, do your research. You should always ask for a tour before you board or do daycare for your dog. Tail Waggers did just that for me. They showed me everything, even the bathrooms! I know every room in that place now and every service they provide. They let me know exactly what my dogs stay included and when they would do it. My Pup Mya goes to Tail Waggers twice a week & loves it as do I ! She is a very energetic & active dog that needs to run & play & interact with other dogs & does she ever. I cant say how happy I am that I found Tail Waggers, they are GREAT with the dogs & care about each & every one of them as if they were their own. Ania & Damien are wonderful & helped me through a hard time with Mya recently when we found out she has food allergies. They were the ones who noticed some signs of a problem even before I did. I have lived in many places and have used lots of different kennels. With each one I have had things that I wasnt 100% happy with. My dogs would often come home with upset stomachs, diarhea or other various ailments; and I always felt guilty afterwards. When I moved to CT, I toured this facility when it was under different ownership and called Canine Arts Naturally. I can say with 100% definity that I drove away horrified!
