I've been renting with Tahoe RVs for the last three years. This year was NOT good. We arrived late Thursday at night after flying from the east coast to a dirty RV (bathroom sink clearly hadn't been cleaned, there was a used sock and some garbage left in the RV, and there was mud on the wall of the bottom bunk). Additionally, our RV was also visibly not level. Friday we went out hiking all day so we had not cell service. The trailers were great! Clean and easy to use!
This rating is based on the Customer Service & their knowledge when I called Tahoe RV Rentals (TRR). I went to parks.ca.gov website & it clearly says they (Eagle Point Campground) have a contract with TRR & they will not go with any other vendors. Since they have that contract with them, you’d figure TRR will know what trailers is recommended for each campsite. In other words, having a list for each campsite with their dimensions of the parking space for the trailers they can rent out. Knowing all that would be helpful for t... read more
Great way to utilize an RV. It was fantastic to arrive to our campsite with the trailer already set up. It was clean and looked well maintained. We added a solar panel last minute and the company was easy to work with for that add-on. The only reason for the 4 stars is the bed was not comfortable at all!! I'm not sure what type of "mattress" was used, but it sat on a piece of plywood and that is what it felt like we were sleeping on - a piece of wood. At the moment (Aug 2024), Fallen Leaf campground's only approved third party trailer rental company. This year was my second time renting a trailer from Tahoe RV Rentals and have had a great experience both times. From easy/secure online reservations for many rental options to simple check-in/check-outs with the trailer. They have prompt communications and prices are competitive.
