We have been riding in the Tahoe area for years, but Ken and Thomas were a lot of fun to ride with and showed us some great new trails and ride options. It was very nice to have a leader that was familiar with the trails rather than spending time looking at maps. I highly recommend Tahoe Mountain Guides for any level rider.

Great experience this past weekend with TMG. They put together an excellent collection of trails that were well suited for our group, and all we had to do was follow the leader; no pulling out the maps to figure out the next turn. We rode some of the most beautiful trails I have been on near Truckee. Thomas, who lead our ride, was extremely friendly, as well as an excellent rider. Good times with TMG!

My girlfriend and I did the high country Mtb tour with Alex. Met ken at the shop when we picked up our bikes. Great customer focus and Alex was an amazing coach, guide and host. Flatted about 15 min and and Alex got us rolling in no time. Booked a second trip - it was that good. We got our bikes from cycle path and they were first rate. Greg fitted my girlfriend for her rental helmet. Reasonable price for the quality machine you get.
Ken was so good. Can't imagine a better guide. He was so great with our kids.
Ken took us on the best tour! Having never done any kind of mountain biking, I was pretty nervous, but Ken was an amazingly patient teacher. He managed to create a ride technically challenging and fun enough for my husband, who's an avid mountain biker, while still keeping things approachable for a novice like me. We both had a blast. Many thanks, Ken. We'll be back soon!!
The guides at this company know their stuff (and are fun to learn from!) My wife and I tried fat biking with Ken this winter and will be back for mountain biking in the summer for sure! Thanks for the experience! :)
