Outstanding food, beer, and service! The Loaded Tots are a must have and don't leave without having a Hop Dragon Double IPA.
I live in the Bay Area, and often make a day trip up to Tahoe to hit the slopes. I always make a point to stop here for lunch or a quick dinner before hitting the road. The service is stupendous, the wide beer selection is all tasty, the food is out of this world. And the view of the lake (even in the winter) is absolutely beautiful! Excellent Bloody Mary. Food was fair. Service was great. Not a huge menu, but all the essential pub fare.
$8 for deep fried pickles? 8x cost? Stout was better than the Porter. Porter needs a few less IBUs.
