Dr. Jernick refused to give a referral to see a Fellowship trained shoulder specialist because they are a competitor in Reno at Swift and he claims to be a shoulder “specialist” despite lacking the training or background. Once you tell Tahoe Forest Ortho you want to go to Reno the staff stops caring, delaying any type of referral or prescription. Went to urgent care in Tahoe City and got the referral I needed for Swift in Reno because any primary care physician appointments are two months out at Tahoe Forest. These people wa... read more
Dr Jernick repaired my knee (ACL). 18 months later it’s better than ever. The staff are lovely and they do good work.
Ive had bad knees since i was 13. Everything these other reviewers said is all true. Dr. Ringes is the BOMB!!! Just got my second one, and, as usual, im flying first class! Ive been in and out of hospitals all my life so ive got plenty to compare them to. How did a little Sierra town get so lucky as to have such an infusion of an intense amount of capital being poured into a rural hospital? This is NOT the hospital system of 50 years ago.
