RecommendedMy oncologist, Dr. Kappel, is great, the facilities, located in Truckee, are wonderful, the entire staff is friendly and just superb. The drive up and down the hill (mountain) is very beautiful and relaxing.
I would never recommend this place after my experience, because it is next to impossible to ask my doctor (Semrad) a basic question, unless I am physically in the office. Was very disheartening. Even when they know you must drive at least an hour to get there around the lake...Questions come up, and you feel helpless. I literally moved my entire family out of Tahoe and back near my old team of oncologists... I was shocked at the difference between the different offices. Scary.
