NO Tahoe Diesil My motor home broke down in south lake Tahoe. It was my wife and I with four kids and mother in law. It was a Thursday evening in August. I knew that was a simple fix and hooked to a diagnostic computer would tell what was wrong right away. Tahoe diesel would not even look at it until the next Monday . stay away i took my vehicle in to have the fuel pump changed out , after 9 days , they decided to put on a rotor cap , coil which was repalced 20 days ago by previos owner, charged me 600 dollars, and told me it needed a fuel pump? wtf i felt like i was in the twilight zone, in 9 days i never recived a phone call, and when i called them , they acted like i was bothering them, they told me the engine is "tired" with no compression test,so i have the truck compression tested , its perfect , just not gettin fuel, i would not ta... read more
Don't make the mistake of taking your EXPENSIVE truck to the dealer. Living in Tahoe it's the only 4 Wheel drive shop that I would take my truck too. They are more than fair with their pricing, and they are atleast 1/3 the price that the Carson City Ford Dealership. They do a fantistic job. like most diesel owners I made the mistake of putting regular gas in my truck by accident, the Ford dealership wanted $1,400 to fix this mistake while 4 Wheel Drive did the same job for about $400.
