home was destroyed by Helene. TOOK 5_EVER to get my first hardship disbursement and now that I need more fund to transition to new home.... NO ONE CAN BE BOTHERED TO ANSWER A PHONE OR RETURN A MESSAGE (WEEKS) I've been calling.

Absolutely horrible! I’ve never had this much difficulty being able to access my funds from my 401k. These people don’t answer the phone nor follow up on emails. I’m surprised they’re still in business to be over anyone’s account. This is unacceptable!
I requsted a distribution from my TransAmerica 401K account after I was let go from my job at the end of the year. We are 20 days in since my request, my previous employer has completed all their loose ends and we are still waiting on TAG to sign a document so I can receive my money and survive and provide for my family in this transitional time. I would give less than one star but its not available. I was terminated from my job in November. I contacted transamerica. Only to find you that tag resources are the people who are responsible to release the funds. Calling them does nothing. Same response. Nothing. I just want my money. They make it harder tha n it has to be. I may have to contact state agencies to get my money.
