I must admit that it has been a while since I've had anything that needed Scott's attention but he has done a fair amount of work for me over the last 10-12 years. I bought a "Frankenstein" M-1 Garand made out of spare parts at an auction for cheap and I could not figure out the problems it had. Scott not only fixed it, the rifle drills tacks at 100 yards. I inherited an old Army shotgun, pre-WWII Remington, that was in very bad condition when I got it. Solid rust. Scott refinished it and it looks new. Scott fixed the sights... read more

Without a doubt probably the best gunsmith within 100 miles of Huntsville, Alabama. Every work that has been performed in this shop is absolutely perfect. I have scopes mounted and several botched assemblies (by me) fixed here. My neighbor also uses TacArms and he says that the bluing work and finish work done in this shop is top notch, and he is a retired Army rotorhead. Tactical Arms Gunsmithing is simply the best.
