It took an hour to get 3 Shrimp Cocktails. This is a chilled dish where all ingredients should have been prepped and chopped in advance minus the shrimp. Shrimp takes 2-5 minutes to cook and another 2 minutes to chill in an ice bath. There were 5-6 customers that came in and got their food while we were waiting for our cocktails. I have eaten here numerous times over the past couple of years and I have never been disappointed. TL;DR if you want good, authentic food and like supporting real, small business, eat here. The food is always fantastic, the aguas frescas are perfect, and it's the best kind of small shop to have a nice meal. The folks that work here are always kind, and deserve recognition for the great store they run. The staff was so accommodating of my temporary dietary restrictions and it was DELICIOUS and fresh ingredients. Tables were also very clean, I can tell great pride is taken in this restaurant!
