“Tacos Joven” essentially means “young tacos” in Spanish. But don’t worry—you can (and will!) enjoy Tacos Joven at any age! For instance, I’m a 45-year-old gringo and can’t explain to how much I love the food at this place. The chicken they use in the tacos is simmered in a delicious sauce that makes every bite savory, succulent and sensational. Door and online says they opened at 11. I stopped by about 5 minutes after 11 on my lunch break and by 11:25 still hadn't opened yet, not even a worker in the building .. just need consistency...
I'm visiting from Colorado and was craving some tacos, so I searched online, read the reviews, and decided to give this place a try. I came in on 7/12/26 around noon, and I honestly regret it. The service was terrible, especially considering I was the only customer in the restaurant. I ordered two carne asada tacos and a lemonade. The tacos were very disappointing.
