I haven’t tried food as worst as the red iguana until now. The Quesadilla and enchiladas were Terrible. No toasty cheese and tortillas and the enchiladas looked like they did a quick thing in 5 minutes. Next time I will go to el Cabrito in rose park for enchiladas and El Rey de oro in West Jordan for Tacos. I am Mexican and this place is terrible. I don’t understand how it has been open since 1998. This was a major fail unfortunately. The place is cute and the staff is nice. We had mango ice cream and it was really good and refreshing and sweet, had pulp in there too which was good. But the food was really not good, their OG spot by the old sears is AMAZING and pricing is better over there too. The al pastor tasted like pork in tinga sauce and the birria I think was carne desebrada so it’s super lean there wasnt fat to make the tacos toasty, it was soggy and the consomé was bland and sooo small. Found this place on accident recently. We've come back multiple times in the last week since we discovered them. The street tacos are great. The burritos are very good as well. Stoked to keep working through the menu and try their desserts and other items. They've got some fun games (jenga & tictactoe) out on that tables as well as some fun cheeky street signs in Spanish. They've got great tacos at the corner of Chingate Way and Pinche Way.
