I’ve been coming up to this hotel since they’ve opened. I grew up coming to Manchester, Vermont multiple times a year. When this hotel opened, my family would frequently stay here. Over the years I’ve noticed a change in service and my experience this time has ensured that I will not be staying here again. This hotel always surpasses my expectations! The staff is always welcoming and accommodating right from the moment of check in. Jay, is always exceptional and always attentive at the reception desk. She creates an authentic and welcoming vibe that most hotels only strive for. The room was exceptionally clean and a personalized welcome gift/ salutation always adds a personal touch and boutique feel. I would give it a top rating but for the undisclosed $35 per night RESORT fee which was supposed to cover wifi and a game room that had checkers. By the way there is no valet. We left feeling ripped off after an otherwise pleasant stay. Thinking about the hotel response. If it’s such a good deal, why not make it an option. Also WiFi is almost always free and there is absolutely NO valet parking nor ANY indication of shuttle service.
