The place had a nice vibe to it, but unfortunately the food did not live up to the prices. We got a watermelon agua Fresca and a mango alcoholic drink (dont remember the name), the agua Fresca was good and the mango drink too, but nothing out of this world. The chips and guac were not good, chips were extremely stale and guac seemed like it was 2 spoonfuls. Chicken tinga was super dry and did not really taste fresh Same with the Al pastor… The fried fish taco was soggy not crispy at all. The non meat tacos were decent.. agua Fresca tasted old. Ended up throwing away my meal wasn’t impressed at all.
This guacamole was $7.50..for this size. For this price, I would have expected the portion size to be more commensurate. The chicken tacos were dry and tough to chew. I was really craving some good tacos, and unfortunately this fell short. Unlikely to come back unless there are improvements.
The food at this location is delicious; it’s authentic Mexican; you can pick anything on the menu and won’t be disappointed; and the service is even better; today I witnessed a child that was about to fall out of a stroller while parents were ordering food and a server by the name of Naz dived to save the baby; you don’t see this type Good Samaritan behavior these days; he ended up falling on other tables but he did save the baby; he’s an amazing employee and any business would benefit by having someone like Naz working for ... read more
