Going through radiation is not easy, but the team at Tacoma/Valley Radiation Oncology made the process feel manageable. From front desk to clinical staff, everyone was respectful and attentive. Questions were answered clearly, and I never felt rushed. That level of care makes a real difference

I was going to Tacoma Radiation until a serious difference of opinion came up between the radiation oncologist and the surgeon in charge of my case. The radiation oncologist recommended 25 pelvic radiation sessions, but my surgeon strongly advised against it, saying I only needed targeted treatment to the area where my cervix had been. When I declined the pelvic radiation, I received a call telling me I was making a “big mistake,” that the cancer would come back as stage 4, and that I would die.
