I was going to Tacoma Radiation until a serious difference of opinion came up between the radiation oncologist and the surgeon in charge of my case. The radiation oncologist recommended 25 pelvic radiation sessions, but my surgeon strongly advised against it, saying I only needed targeted treatment to the area where my cervix had been. I hesitated to post but after days gone by with zero check in I felt it necessary. Consult was prompt and informed (so I thought). Extremely pushy to get me in for treatment not following Surgeons guidelines or sympathy to cardio clearance. Treatment plan altered without my consent, adjusted after I advocated for myself. Treatment area was not as described. I sustained head exposure for left breast treatment. Charges office visit just to refer you off for more tests and then to come back for another consult. Should review all files before appt and order additional testing if treatment can’t be scheduled without it
