Tacoma Iron Work completed a highly specialized gate for us in a gated HOA. They did a fantastic job with replication of the damaged gate down to each detail. I will use Tacoma Iron Work for all our future projects. Very professional company to work with!
Our front gate door was sagging due to a weak support structure, which made it very difficult to open and close. In about 3 weeks, the Tacoma Iron Work team identified the issue, completed the necessary drawings, and built and installed a structure that properly anchors and supports the door. Opening and closing is a breeze! From start to finish, we had a positive experience with the whole team—they are creative and work efficiently. We won't hesitate to have them out again for future projects.

Tacoma Iron works is a cut above other gate companies in the Tacoma area! I can say this because when you call them you get a friendly real person, their eye for details, their wiliness to help, their ability to estimate and fabricate truly custom designed gates, and they were always available to answer any questions I had.
I've read other reviews and it sounds like John and company are good at building fencing gates, posts and other small non-structural metal works. Unfortunately I hired John for a bigger project where constructing a structural Moment Frame was needed. John (Tacoma Iron Work owner) did not have the knowledge or experience for this type of project.
