Let me start by saying my actual experience in the salon was pleasant. The hairdressers were very kind, and the environment was very welcoming at first. The services here are not cheap, and I drove well out of my way to come to this salon as no one in my hometown knows how to style my hair texture. My first time going to a curly hair specialist, and it was totally worth it! I’ve had many cuts before where I had to ask the stylist to texturize and blend the layers more after my hair dried, so it didn’t look choppy. Joan gave me the perfect cut for my wavy texture. (I think maybe she used a razor? I couldn’t see that well.) I asked for shaggy layers that I could air dry. The tiny, sweet salon dog just wanted to be curled up on my lap the whole time. I will definitely be back.
