We so enjoyed our takeaway from Taco Trio. Wish we had picked a nicer night so we could have sat outside. (FYI, more tables outside than in. A small bar inside.) The guys were helpful and friendly and our wait was relatively short considering it was very busy.
The food at Tacos Trios is really good. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful and you can tell they put care into what they make. The salsas are an absolute highlight. Bold, fresh, and they elevate every single bite. Honestly some of the best salsa I’ve had in South Portland. The one thing that keeps this from being a perfect experience is the pricing. I ate lunch inside Taco Trio yesterday. Unfortunately they didn't have the air conditioning on. I saw a heat pump but it was off. I had the Chicken Mole Burrito and my friend had a vegetarian taco which she really liked. My burrito was really dry with hardly any mole sauce in it. I love mole sauce but I could barely taste it.
