It was superb! The service, the food, the ambience...all on point!!!
Probably some of the best mexican food in SLO (so not border quality, but decent for up here). Staff is always friendly and the food is usually consistent, but I'd avoid "Taco Tuesday" - super busy, and sometimes the quality of the meat can be hit and miss (probably because they're working as fast as they can).
There is a lot to love here. The chips are always fresh (which is rare these days), the salsa bar is generous, the prices are fair, and the cooks do a great job. It’s one of those places we keep coming back to. I just have a couple small suggestions that I think could make an already great place even better. It would be amazing if there were an option for filtered water, as the current water doesn’t have the best taste.
