In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Now, almost 52 years later, while the other guys have turned to packaged and processed foods, we've stayed true to our roots by crafting authentic recipes in each of our kitchens. We do things the Bueno way, and you're sure to taste the difference.

Waited forever for someone to come to the counter and take our order. No containers for the salsa bar and got attitude when I asked if we could get some. Another guy came in after me and waited almost 10 minutes for someone to take his order. Empty inside and I can see why. Pretty disappointing as these are usually good restaurants.
Well, they do not get in a hurry! If you want slow fast food, come here. I have not eaten at taco Bueno in years, because we do not have one. Now I know why
The staff is very friendly and I have never had any issues. Order is always correct.
I intended to eat there but it was so cold inside I could barely stay long enough to wait on my order. I'm not just talking a little chilly, I couldn't wait to get out of there.
