I really liked the carne asada tacos. The perfect mix of the green garlic sauce, pico, and steak. Today I purchased 3 of what I thought would be my favorite tacos. What I was presented with was an unfamiliar serving of meat with pink ribbons of pickled onions. I did not like them. I removed the onions yet the bittersweet taste remained. Why would you take a perfect taco and ruin it? Of course, this is an opinion. One which people may not share. Maybe they like the pickled onions. I do not. Chesapeake the bartender was an excellent host
Our first Taco Boy experience was quiet & tasty! Upon arriving, it doesn't look too nice from the outside...then you walk in and it's this gorgeous restaurant with a give patio and yard area, all behind a huge fence. You'd have no idea you were right by a major roadway! We started with the Spicy Margarita and Hibiscus Margarita. Kayla took care of us and went out of her way to make our experience top notch. Taco Boy is one of the coolest restaurants in Charleston with a great vibe and beautiful setting. The food is outstanding, as well, with a fusion of flavors!!! Come to Taco Boy…you won’t be disappointed.
