I wanted tacos for Taco Tuesday and Cinco de Mayo. Probably not the best idea. I knew it was going to be busy especially right after I got off work. I ordered ahead for 5:15 pm but my food wasn't ready. I went to sit down and waited. One of the employees, probably the manager, came to the floor and asked several of us if we had ordered already. I usually love Taco Bamba but this one is a hot mess and I’ve been to a lot. On a Friday busy place, slow service, dead unpleasant staff, wrong orders coming out, dirty unclean tables. Once our food finally came out the staff was so distant and over the patrons.I hate to see this from a once really solid place. Franchising don’t ruin a good thing! Update: got home and my order was wrong. Didn’t even get the right tacos. Ugh!
Food is good
Taco Bamba. Simply one of the best taco spots out there. Hard to believe they are a small chain as the menu and flavor feels like something special each and every time. Used to live right up the street from one of their locations and really miss being that close by to one. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend The Jefferson. Still one of the most flavorful things I've ever eaten.
