Traveled from Gainesville to you guys last week in search of a draft halter... at first, there wasn’t much hope except for a really nice leather halter that was a bit over my budget.. However, one of the very sweet gals behind the counter did some hunting for me in the merchandise system and said there was a turn out halter (with a quick release!) somewhere around. I've been coming to the Tack Shack for 20 years and unfortunately the last few times I've stopped in there, I've gotten the cold shoulder treatment. Selectively friendly, avoidance, and far from helpful..I hate to say it, but I felt as if I didn't meet some sort of secret standard to spend money in there. While in there, I also noticed their selections have shrunk considerably. Such a shame..it used to be my one stop horse shop and they called me by my first name back then too. Wonder what happened? :(

Not only is it the premier place to buy all things equestrian but even if you're not a horse person you can do all your shopping there with the coolest clothes and shoe ware!
I brought my brown Verhan dressage saddle down to get billets replaced. Anyone who has owned a brown dressage saddle know it’s impossible to find a shop to match the color. They did great work, solid stitching, and I couldn’t be happier with the match!
