My girlfriend and I were there yesterday although my dish was good, she had complaints. Canned mushrooms were used(yuck). No lemon in her Icewater, asked twice. No straw either, no spoon for the coffee. OK small stuff here. But to top it off was the cashier. Gave back the wrong change Twice! Handed over 100$ bill for a 25$ breakfast, got back$45 instead of $75. Then she gave back $65! My girl said you still owe me $10 more! Scam or mistake it is very unprofessional. Love this amazing retro dinner! Best food, service, and atmosphere! Can you come to Kennebunk, Maine and open another diner in our hometown? Would blow the local competition away!

For a variety of food options, in the South Road/ Rt 9 area, this is an ok choice. The service? ehhh, so-so. The food itself? nothing to rave about. 10 minutes north, I prefer the Palace Diner (just off Rt 9 @ 9G/Washington Ave). Much friendlier service, tastier food, more comfortable atmosphere, better all-around.
