Food was great! Ordered Davangere Benne Dose, Mulbagal Dose, and Mallige Thatte idly and they all were really good! Dosas were not very greasy and idly was super soft. Davangere Benne Dose tasted very close to the actual stuff. But, their service was very frustrating. We had to select a pick up time while placing an order on their website but we still ended up waiting for 45 mins when we went there. Food is excellent! We ordered the Davangere Benne Dosa , Mulbagal Dosa and the Mallige Thatte Idli, and they were all really good. However , it was an utterly poor experience with the service, we arrived to pick up our order, and no one comes to the check us in or we talk to us for 20 min, after 15 more min, we were told that one of our items that we had ordered online is unavailable, no communication for another 20 min. The taste has been very inconsistent lately. I’m originally from Bangalore and now live in Phoenix, but I travel to the Bay Area often and visit Taaza Thindi about once every four months. Unfortunately, the dosa’s crispness, color, and overall taste seem to vary significantly with every visit. I’m not sure whether the cooks have changed or what is happening behind the scenes, but it has been disappointing. I genuinely hope the quality improves and that you bounce back soon.
