TNT Vietnamese restaurant - Reviewed January 2015. For me this has been a favorite restaurant for several years. The absolute best pho in the Des Moines metro area, hands down! Great cooking. Excellent attentive service, but not in that uncomfortable way some places have of hovering over the tables. BEST PHO IN DES MOINES – I have been eating at TNT since I moved back to Des Moines in 2007. I have tried other Pho restaurants in town but not one lives up to TNT. The location is a bit alarming for some people but extremely easy to find and plentiful parking. It is a casual environment and just the right size, the staff is polite and friendly, the service is quick, and the Pho noodle soup is addictive. Best egg rolls I have ever eaten. – Had never tried Vietnamese food in my life, but I am definitely sold on it now. I love the egg rolls at T&T. I had a seafood noodle bowl that was just fantastic. They serve it with a plate of fresh basil, bean sprouts, and a slice of lime you add just as much as you want to suit your own taste.
