Quaint little spot with great food and amazingly friendly service. Hard taco shells were crispy and not heavy with oil. They were stuffed with guacamole, sour cream cheese and lettuce. The red pork tamale was very flavorful and not overly done with corn maza. Go and enjoy!
The woman that helped me was wonderful and I was excited to try the tamales. But unfortunately they were extremely underwhelming, I expected for the price it’ll be worth it but unfortunately it wasn’t. If you notice in my picture there was literally a single strand of meat in my tamale.
Twice I called in my order, and Christine, aka CJ, stated my burrito would be ready in 15 mins. Upon arrival I found out on both times my food wasn’t ready. The first order I had to wait till they prepared my food. The second time I waited 55 mins. Christine proceeded to argue that it had not been 45 mins. And she was correct. It was 55 min wait. I came in for pozole and asked to switch from green to red. Instead of handling a simple request, the manager became defensive, claimed she ‘checked the cameras,’ and refused to help. The manager was so rude. She yelled at my family and aggressively threw the bowl of pozole on the table. The way the situation was handled was unprofessional and completely unnecessary. If a business can’t manage a straightforward exchange without hostility, that says a lot about how they treat customers. I won’t be returning
Been coming here for years but recently stopped the food is good but they are very cheap with portions. Ordered tamales this time literally no meat paid 23 dollars for 6 masa tamales disappointing…
