As a veteran, no thanks. The VA chose this firm to do an appraisal for the home we presently rent and wanted to buy from the owner. During the appraisal casual appraisal, I pointed out several recently sold properties and highlighted the differences between the two. Nevertheless, John Sokol's appraisal of our home came in significantly under the asking price.
