Simply Outstanding! – Fantastic food, fantastic service, very romantic. The head maitre d' (and director of romance) Paul is a credit to his profession....extremely professional, friendly and discreet. I think his title is a little cheesy but the restaurant and he are not. It's set at a very upscale small boutique hotel, The Royal Palms.
Wife Wonderland – I took my wife for a mid morning breakfast on a Saturday . The food was diverse and enjoyable, with a lovely presentation. We enjoyed eating outdoors by the croquet lawn, I found it relaxing and peaceful. A quiet stroll around the Mediterranean/southwest courtyard and grounds was every bit as romantic as the meal. We made a morning out of it and visited the farmers market in Vincent's parking lot just down the street-she loved it.
Great, quiet place – Superb setting, attentive service, great wine list, quiet room with plenty of room between tables.
overrated – the food was just OK, expected a really good meal and walked away very dissapointed
HEY – I have to say that all around this is the best restuarant for your money. The service is excellent, food is devine, and the prop. is just beautiful. I felt as though I was in another country.
Serenity Now – I have dined at T-Cooks around 4-5 times and I have never enjoy meals like I do when I am at the Royal Palms. Strong effort to exceed customers expaectations is evident from the setting, to the service and there is not one item on the menu that doesn't melt in your mouth. Of course, I am priveledged enough to have connections inside the Royal Palms, but this does not give me a biased opinion. Your rating T-Cooks as the #1 restaurant is Phoenix is 100% accurate.
Personal Service - Great Experience – My husband and I took his parents to T. Cook's for their 25th anniversary. The staff went above and beyond to make their anniversary perfect. They even prepared, at my request, a special menu without the prices so that our guests could choose whatever they wanted without the pressure of knowing how much it was costing us. It did cost quite a lot, but T. Cook's is the kind of place where you can drop a couple hundred bucks in one night...and feel good about it.
vintage romance – We have stayed at the Phoenician and many local resorts and eaten at some of the finest restaurants in town. We found this quite by accident. It was such a find! Friends of ours were celebrating their 20th anniversary and staying at the Royal Palms and planned to eat at T Cook's for the celebration. We were entranced by the atmosphere. Swank – Fabulous place to live the good life - the service is the best in town and there is nothing better than soaking up some piano music and martinis and pretending like you can afford it all night after night. The romanitc mood is palpable - the gorgeous lounge and bar make you want to grab the nearest well dressed patron and take it to one of the casitas sprinkled across the sumptuous grounds. Great for early or late night.
